SCHOLARSHIPS
In an effort to increase accessibility to professional training, each year The Open Jar Institute awards over $25,000 in scholarships to students around the country, with a special focus on Black, Indigenous, and other marginalized students. We acknowledge there is unintended, systemic racism in our society and we have a strong commitment to do our part to ensure that the necessary changes are made in our industry. We are determined to help ensure the next generation of under-represented artists have greater access to training and artistic development.
HOW WILL YOU KNOW IF YOU GET A SCHOLARSHIP?
Once you’ve submitted your application, you’ll meet with our Program Director. After that meeting a determination will be made about funding available.
It is our missing to help ensure that this opportunity can be shared with all communities.
